Pizza for breakfast, horse, boat and off we go – heading for the Rift.

The first of the colossi on the way. Stumps everywhere – someone has been cutting down the forest hard.

""

The red pillar of light is visible from afar.

""

Straight ahead – right into the red.

""

A town of tents is growing right at the foot of the Rift.

""

All the colossi are finished, and war machines stand between them. Things are about to happen.

""

Some birch, felled, cut into logs and 43 shafts. A levelled patch of ground on the slope, a tall log fence, a gate with a lock – and we have our own pen.

Tent pitched, horse safe behind the fence.

""

The Rift at dusk.

""

Campfire lit, grass planted – the camp is ready.

""

And at night it looks even better.

""

Now we just wait for it to start.

""

Two war pigs can’t wait any longer.

""

10 minutes before the start – final preparations.

""

Everyone on horseback, waiting.

""

The Rift is on. A crowd of players under the colossi, and the paving strewn with dead armoured wolves and skulls.

""

The fight begins. Armoured wolves press in from all sides.

""

Tentacles sprout from the ground, and the battlefield is full of corpses.

""

Another wave from the Rift.

""

And finally him – a huge ogre.
