It’s good to have a fenced area. If you’re often afk, there’s no risk of something eating you.
The fog creates a nice atmosphere. Not so nice when you’re in the middle of a forest on the other end of the map or trying to get down from a mountain top.
Now just get rid of the supplies, eat, drink and head to the next spot.
Small, simple houses also come in handy if we want to do something for longer outside our own settlement. If we can’t be at the computer all the time, at least we have a safe place.
I prefer the version with a ladder inside. You can always look around the area more easily or escape through the roof if it’s too hot outside the door
And a reptile is already lurking there.
